"Health Nut for the Day"

Oatmeal is a great source of fiber that has cancer-fighting properties. It can also help lower LDL (bad) cholesterol. People who eat oatmeal on a regular are less likely to develop heart disease. It's also good for those with diabetes because the fiber slows down starch digestion so blood sugar won't spike right after a meal.

If you're not a big oatmeal person try it out with some fruit like blueberries or bananas or your favorite fruit.
